Well, Prasarana expects to have a very busy time with its rail and property projects. The 'rail-and-property play' is becoming the new trend around for Syarikat Prasarana Negara Bhd - especially since they recently announced two projects already - the one in Taman Tun Dr Ismail with NAZA TTDI, and the other one - the redevelopment of Dang Wangi LRT Station with us.
Well, I think this is good for the industry in general - and with its upcoming tenders to be rolled out and awarded, including the Ara Damansara II LRT extension land, the Brickfields monorail depot plot, and perhaps others including the Taman Melawati bus depot as well as the Putra Heights LRT depot - Prasarana would be very busy - and we at Crest Builder would be busy vying and tendering for these projects too.
Hong Kong - the pioneers of the rail+property projects - with a massive MTR line running underneath their tallest buildings and skyscrapers.
On a separate note - the development of the detailed concept and design for the Dang Wangi LRT Redevelopment is almost finalized now - and well, one of the key elements of the development is still not finalized yet - which is the NAME of the development.
