PUTRAJAYA, MALAYSIA, 18 OCTOBER 2012 – Crest Builder Holdings Berhad’s wholly owned
subsidiary Vertical Success Sdn Bhd (“CBHB” or the “Group”) had signed a Memorandum of
Understanding (“MoU”) this morning in conjunction with the name-change and new logo event of
UNITAR International University (“UNITAR”), formerly known as University of Management and
Technology (“UMTECH”) at Marriott, Putrajaya.
The event and signing ceremony was attended and witnessed by YB Dato’ Seri Mohamed Khaled
Nordin, Minister of Higher Education, Malaysia, Dato’ Abdul Rahman Bin Ahmad, Director and Chief
Executive Officer of Ekuiti Nasional Berhad (“Ekuinas”) and Professor Dr. Abdul Razak Habib, Vice-
Chancellor of UNITAR International University.
The signing ceremony was to officially host and witness, the signing of the MoU between CBHB and
UNITAR in respect of Tierra Crest, Kelana Jaya. CBHB is poised to tie up on an agreement with
UNITAR, whereby the university will be leasing approximately 85% of the total lettable area of
280,000sq.ft. UNITAR expects to occupy the building by June 2013 after CBHB delivers the
completed development by the first quarter of 2013.
Tierra Crest is strategically located in Kelana Jaya with direct access from all the major highways in
the area such as the Federal Highway, LDP and Sprint and it is surrounded by well-known universities
such as KDU University, Sunway University, Taylors University Lakeside and Universiti Tun Abdul
Razak. Tierra Crest is a 16 storey development project constructed on a land area of approximately
1.82 acres with two office towers and retail units which will occupy the three base levels. This RM140
million project consist only two units per floor in the office towers with a built up area of 8,000 sq. ft per
unit.
“The balance of Tierra Crest’ lettable area being only the retail portion, we intend to retain and engage
the property management of these units ourselves under our Group. We believe that Tierra Crest will
meet the needs of UNITAR in providing top notch facilities, conducive learning eco-system and
studying environment for their students going forward.” commented Eric Yong, Executive Director of
Crest Builder.
In closing Mr. Yong said, “Today’s signing is a promising business development for the last quarter of
2012 and with recent major development projects that the Group has managed to secure, such as the
Dang Wangi and MRB projects with a combined GDV of approximately RM2.4 billion, we trust that our
Group will have a fruitful and exciting year ahead for 2013.”
